Dr. Werner’s interest in pharmaceutical analytics is based on the investigation how to obtain, to treat and to interpret analytical data of drugs and drug systems.
New analytical strategies should help to reach more precise and accurate information concerning the state of an investigated system. The results of analytical investigations have a direct and important influence on the security of drug systems in human medicine.
They will help protecting the patient from undesired side effects on health, induced by application of unqualified drugs. Her research are carried out in collaboration with international authorities (European Pharmacopoeia Commission (EDQM) und Swiss Pharmacopeia (Ph. Helv.)) and with different pharmaceutical industries.
